LF tracks the lost baggage, registers damaged/pilfered baggage.

Delayed Baggage

If your baggage has not arrived, please report it to the Lost and Found service before leaving the airport Arrival Hall.

The LF staff  will register the delay (non-arrival) of your baggage and provide you a copy of the Property Irregularity Report (PIR) which contains a unique reference number.

The Lost and Found Service does not handle all airlines. A report with a unique reference number is issued only for airlines served by this service.

For some airlines, a delayed baggage report may also be filed online through the relevant system.

Using the unique report reference number, you can track the status of  your delayed baggage through the baggage tracing system (see the link below):

Baggage tracing System - World Tracer

For additional information, please contact the Lost and Found Service which operates 24/7.

You can also track your delayed baggage using following baggage tracing systems:

Bags Search

For passengers of Lufthansa Airlines

For passengers of Brussels Airlines

For passengers of Austrian Airlines

For passengers of Fly Dubai

Once your baggage arrives, the Lost and Found Service will arrange free delivery to the address you provided. This service is available for selected airlines. Delivery within Yerevan may take up to 12 hours, while delivery to other regions of Armenia may take up to 48 hours.

The Lost and Found Service will trace your delayed baggage during the first 5 days. After that, responsibility for further tracing and any subsequent procedures rests with the operating airline.

Damaged / Pilfered baggage

If you receive your baggage damaged/pilfered upon arrival, you should report it at the LF office, before leaving the the baggage claim area.

The LF service staff  will prepare the relevant Report, specifying the nature of the damage or missing contents, the baggage weight, attaching photos and recording the passenger's contact details.

A copy of the report will be provided to the passenger for the purpose of completing the subsequent claim procedures.

Please note that the LF service does not handle all airlines. If your airline is not served by this service, you should contact the airline's official representatives in Armenia to obtain information regarding the next steps.

If delayed baggage is delivered in a damaged condition and/or part of its content is missing, it is necessary to make an appropriate note on the Protocol of Baggage Delivery in the presence of the delivery service representative and contact the LF service in order to have the relevant report prepared.
