Regulation on Cash Payments Ban at Airport Check-In Counters and Gates

“Armenia” International Airports” CJSC, as a Manager of “Zvartnots” International Airport (hereinafter the Airport), has adopted the following regulation on cash payments ban at the Airport check-in counters and gates:  

  1. If, during passenger check-in, the passenger is required to make payment for extra paid services, the passenger shall approach the airline’s office, or the Airport cash desk, in order to make the payment in cash. If the passenger prefers to make the payment with a credit card at the check-in counter or gates, he/she is allowed to do so solely to the airline staff or its representative, provided that the airline staff or its representative fulfills all the requirements stipulated by the Republic of Armenia Tax Code, including: issues a corresponding tax receipt. 

 
In case, there is no airline staff or representative present at the check-in counter, or no airline’s office available at the Airport, the passenger shall approach the Airport cash desk to make the payment.

  1. It is prohibited to make cash payments to airlines or any representatives or agents acting on behalf of the airlines for extra paid services during passenger check-in at the Airport check-in counters and gates, 
  2. It is prohibited to accept cash payments by airlines or any representatives or agents acting on behalf of the airlines for extra paid services during passenger check-in at the Airport check-in counters and gates.

Rules for one-time escorted visitor pass holder's movements

“Armenia” International Airports” CJSC, as a Manager of “Zvartnots” International Airport (hereinafter the Airport), has adopted the RULES FOR:

  1. ONE-TIME ESCORTED VISITOR PASS HOLDER’S  MOVEMENTS IN THE CONTROLLED AND ADMINISTRATIVE ZONES
  2. ONE-TIME ESCORTED VISITOR PASS HOLDER’S MOVEMENTS IN THE RESTRICTED ZONE

Requirements for rendering taxi services at "Zvartnots" airport

Regulation on Requirements for Legal Entities and Private Entrepreneurs Rendering Taxi Services at “Zvartnots” International Airport

“Armenia” International Airports” CJSC (hereinafter AIA), as a Manager of “Zvartnots” International Airport (hereinafter the Airport) established the following requirements for the legal entities and private entrepreneurs rendering taxi services in the territory of “Zvartnots” International Airport:

  1. Procedure for Entering into the Airport Territory
  • A legal entity and/or an private entrepreneur shall submit an application to AIA for obtaining a pass to enter the Airport territory, attaching to the application:
  • Airport taxi service license obtained in accordance with the law
  • Technical passport of the vehicle
  •  Driver's identity document, driving license
  • The access pass shall be issued for one year.
  • The annual fee for the pass shall be AMD 6,000 (Armenian Drams Six Thousand).
  • The pass shall be issued in the name of the given vehicle, legal entity or private entrepreneur and cannot be transferred to a third party.
  1. Parking Terms for Taxi Vehicles at the Airport
  • AIA shall assign a special parking area for taxi vehicles in the outer area adjacent to the exits of the Arrival Hall.
  • Taxi vehicles must park solely in the above-mentioned parking area, assigned by AIA,
  • Taxi vehicles are not allowed to park in any paid parking area, other than assigned by AIA.
  • While rendering a waiting service, the taxi driver rendering the taxi service is not allowed to wait on the parking area, and must leave the Airport area.

 

  1. Obligations of Airport Taxi Service Personnel
  • The taxi drivers must observe the rules of parking and boarding the passengers in sequence, i.e. taxi service must be rendered in the order of taxi lining.
  • The taxi driver is not allowed to get off the car in order to attract a passenger.
  • The taxi driver or a person appointed by him is not allowed to attract passengers in the Airport halls.

 

  1. Violation of the Regulation

In case of violation of any of the provisions of this Regulation, AIA shall inform the legal entity or the private entrepreneurs about the violation and a corresponding report shall be drawn up. AIA reserves the right to impose the following sanctions for detected violations:

  • In case of the 1st violation, the issued pass shall be suspended for a period of 7 (seven) days
  • In case of the 2nd violation, the issued pass shall be suspended for a period of 1 (one) month
  • In case of the 3rd violation, the issued pass shall be suspended for a period of 1 (one) year
