What is necessary to know when traveling with pets (dogs and cats)?
When crossing the air border with our little friends, you need to get acquainted with their transportation rules:
- It is necessary to contact the airline operating the flight in advance to familiarize with the rules of transportation and to submit the necessary documents (veterinary health certificate, veterinary passport, export/import/transit permit, vaccination certificate, etc.);
- Depending on weight, the pet can be transported in the passenger cabin or in the luggage compartment;
- The pet must be in a special cage/container or in a soft bag for animals;
- One passenger can transport only one pet;
- Before travelling, it is necessary to get veterinary advice (in case of departure from RA, call +37477 264 007);
- Also, do not forget to get acquainted with the rules of the host/transit country;
- All the details related to the trip should be clarified with the airline operating the flight.
