High season: challenges and measures

Ahead of the high season, the airport is taking all necessary measures to serve passengers as quickly as possible against the background of increased flights and a large passenger flow: the airport recruits necessary number of employees to manage the queues, as well as carries out coordinated work with the border guard service, which is not an airport service. To remind, last year the airport served a record number of passengers - more than 5.3 million. However, we are making every effort to manage this influx and ensure pleasant experience for our passengers.

Due to weather conditions and changes in airline schedules, flight backlogs cause unplanned congestion as flights arrive late or early due to various operational conditions. As a result, there are long queues at the border checkpoint.

To make passengers' journey comfortable and fast, the airport and airlines offer various services, such as "Fast Track", "VIP" services operating at the airport, business class tickets offered by airlines and other paid services. It is a rule accepted all over the world and the airport is no exception in this matter.

We would like to point out that within our mandate, our team has done and is doing everything possible to manage the increased traffic more efficiently and is committed to improving the passenger experience and is exploring various solutions.
