Jazeera Airways flight from Kuwait welcomed by Zvartnots International Airport
Today, July 8, 2025 Zvartnots International airport welcomed the flight from Kuwait operated by Jazeera Airways. The event was attended by Marcelo Wende, Director of “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC, Sergey Avetisyan, General Manager of “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC, Barathan Pasupathi, CEO of Jazeera Airways, H.E. Arsen Arakelyan, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Kuwait, H. E. Mohammed Aloraifan, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to the Republic of Armenia and other guests.
In this connection Marcelo Wende, Director of “Armenia” International Airports” CJSC noted, “We are delighted to witness opening of the connection between Yerevan and Kuwait, which is a significant step, reflecting the strengthening of ties between our two nations, as well as boosting tourism and business ties.”
Kuwait’s leading low-cost carrier, Jazeera Airways serves over 60 destinations across the Middle East, Central and South Asia, Africa and Europe with a fleet of 24 aircraft which includes 11 A320 neo.
